A bit of frost in
the night and a chance of rain
forecast for today

I got the panoramic shot from my deck before 6 AM. I'd been expecting another cloudy, dull day so this view of my mountains looked optimistic.

I left the house before 7 to drive over the bridge to Mission Flats. As always, I was hoping to find eagles but they were not there waiting for me this morning.

I drove to the end of the road where I can view the delta of the Thompson River. I can see right down to Battle Bluff beside Kamloops Lake.

At the turnaround, a flock of white-crowned sparrows were gleaning in the grasses and brush. I see these little fellows in Arizona during the winter. Did they follow me home?

I will enjoy the bright morning at home. There's more paperwork in front of me.
