A handsome boy

I came home after grocery shopping and told G that I'd had a really good visit with Tom.
He looked at me and frowned. "Who's Tom?" he asked.
"A handsome boy that I met in the parking lot."  Then I told him that Tom was a lovely Golden Retriever. I was loading the groceries into my car when a pickup pulled into a parking space opposite me. Tom was in the back. The owners came out and I asked if it would be okay if I took some photos. They agreed and told me that they'd seen a mobile home once with a huge photo of a Golden on its side that looked just like him. They have a mobile home but no photo of their dog on its side. I asked for his name. They went into the store and I took a few photos of Tom. Lucky I had a quick look at them because I'd forgotten to take my settings off mono from yesterday. I took a few more. Tom was very responsive and friendly, and I spent a few minutes petting him and having a good chat. My dog fix for the day! A few rusty bits on the truck too.  :-)

Our first granddog, Hudson, was a Golden Retriever, also a very handsome boy. Such wonderful dogs.
