Spring Sun

Today has been lovely! We've had sunshine all day and clear skies. Little Man and I went for a walk this morning, went via his favourite park. We also saw lots of lorries go past and a few boats on the Hollandse IJssel. We even got to see one of drawbridges open and close to allow a boat to pass. I took a picture of this particular drawbridge last year (click here to see that photo).

Little Man spent some time in bed, but I don't think he slept. He was pretty pleased when my mum got him out of bed. We went to the hairdressers for a trim for him. The lady who normally does it is away on holiday with her family and Little Man really needed a cut. I downloaded a few episodes of "Fireman Sam" on my phone so that I could distract him. He was amazing and let her cut his hair without a fuss. She used scissors all over and Little Man even let her trim the hair around his ears and neck with clippers before he decided he'd had enough. It's a huge achievement.

We got home to spend a bit of time with my brother, Caleb, who had turned up just as we were leaving. He happily spent some time throwing Little Man around before he had to leave.
