Lost in Thought

Porth Clais Harbour (aerial Widwed010524)

Today the sun shone!

We took the bus into St Davids, walked to St Non's shrine/well/chapel and then via the coastal path to Porth Clais Harbour (main blip)

Caught the bus again up to Whitesands beach and walked up onto St Davids Head.

I took the drone rather than a camera hence the aerial blip - hope it fits the Wide Wednesday theme as it's all quite natural landscape along the coast here.  Thanks to Bob's Blips for hosting.
Bright, but not very warm (12°C) so good for walking and I had an ND Filter on the drone camera to control the highlights.

Added as extras: the well and shrine dedicated to St Non, and  an aerial view onto Whitesands beach from St Davids head.

Non: St David's mum - gave birth alone in a storm, protected by a heavenly lightbeam, the rock she held onto while in labour fractured and poured forth holy water,  David went on to found the cathedral and was clearly an all-round great bloke.  David's dad was not someone we might want to meet and so does not feature in the story!

The coffee kiosk at Porth Clais is very good too!
