Egypt meets Canada

Today I went to Burton Mere RSPB Nature Reserve with my birdwatching group.  It was a bit of a coincidence as I'm hoping to go there for a blipmeet on 16th May.

It was a beautiful sunny and warm day so lovely to be outside.  There were lots of different water birds around including pintails spotted redshanks but most were too far away to make a good photo. We were also told that three cranes had flown over and landed in a local field but we didn't see them.

My blip is of an Egyptian Goose and a Canada Goose on one of the lakes.
