GR221 transfer day

Five people went home today, having only joined the group for the long weekend, and five new people arrived. For the rest of us it was a rest day.

Elizabeth and I and one other opted to take the bus into Palma and play tourist, so we found the Tourist Information Office and got a map. First stop was the Arab baths which was small but interesting, and it had a lovely secluded garden where we ate our lunch. Then off to the cathedral... but the number of people wanting to visit put us off, and was probably due to their being two massive, skyscraper cruiseships in port. We enjoyed wandering around for another hour before making our way back to the bus station for the bus to Esporles. 

The hostel in Esporles is interesting. We're sharing a room but are lucky enough to have a separate lounge and a bathroom each! Dinner was very good but took until 9.30pm, quite late for us.
