Apple blossom time

I walked around the orchard at teatime, stumbling through the large tussocks and molehills but this time without rain or hailstones. The apple blossom is just emerging from tight, pink button buds, the petals softly striped, perfectly beautiful. Towards the bottom of the orchard, near the willow thicket, there is a single tree with much deeper pink flowers and coppery leaves; I think it's a cider variety. It's my extra, with a bonus fly.
