Wednesday

A stressful day.

It started ok. Lovely and warm and I spent time in the cutting. I collected the trail camera and noted a new badger sett so shall return and reset.

Then, the stress started and it is all plumbing related!!! I can feel my blood pressure rising just thinking about it. All I'm going to add is a thank you to Jamie, a near neighbour who manages a team of plumbers, who heard our plight and came round to our aid. His wife owns the lock cafe so I'll offer to wash up, or similar, if they are suddenly short staffed. Pay it forward.

In the evening, we saw The Billy Joel Songbook at the Forum in Bath. Lucy, an epileptic, couldn't cope with all the strobe lightening and it was too loud. The musicians were top notch and extraordinarily talented but there was too much noise going on. It needed to be reined in.

There was hedgehog on Louise's path when we dropped her off and Hetty spotted one of our regulars on the front lawn.

It's May! I must enjoy it. My favourite month.
