Maggie's Bad Day

Today was vet day for Maggie's monthly arthritis needle which was made more stressful for her as the ride to the vet took twice as long as usual. We were one block away from the clinic only to find that the road was closed due to a serious accident! No easy way to get around it other than a long circuitous route adding to her misery as she hates riding in the car! And then? A novice technician learning how to give needles! Took three tries! Poor Maggie. I am not sure she has forgiven me....but she did get some comforting from her usual technician before heading home (extra).  

This afternoon, my brother came out from the city and my sister drove down from the north to have a sibling get-together. My sister will stay for a few days; we have much to discuss, including travel plans...
