Beach day?

Today is a fiesta day, 'Workers Day'... I think it's a fiesta day in a lot of Europe. The kids were off school. Nate started the day having a funny turn, he had an upset tummy, his lips were totally white and he was certain he was going to be sick. I think it was processing yesterday's appointments... We did some breathing exercises and he was better after a while. Poor kid. He's also woken with a cold and with earache.
I went off to deliver post and see the ES guys. The uni lads and Danny prepped a picnic for the beach. We got there and it was freezing, windy and the seagulls were out in full force! I've never ever known them to take food or dive (like they can do in the UK), but they were awful today! Taking food out of Sandy's hand, landing on a lad down the beach etc... I've not ever seen that in 10 years here!
Nate was feeling pretty yuck with his painful ear, so home it was for everyone!! Not the day we planned! 

Today I'm grateful for;
1) Nate avoiding throwing up! 
2) A takeout coffee on the freezing beach. 
3) Getting to see the ES guys, not been for a couple of weeks.
