Fog

Morning fog on the NE Cape Fear River

This morning started out foggy and then became sunny and very humid.

This morning Kent & I attended the funeral of a 60 year old friend of ours who has battled one obstacle after another for the past 20 years. He was a quiet, gentle soul who has left behind a wife, three grown children and a couple of grandchildren. Kent had been asked to play the organ at the service.

Following the service, we went by The Frame Works and picked up my Diamond Art Peacock that Kent had matted and framed as my birthday present (see extra)

From there we went on to our scheduled annual appointments with the eye doctor. Kent’s good to go but I need a different left lens so having new lenses put in my last pair of glasses.

When we got home, I dug out last year’s African Blue Basil plants as my new seedlings should arrive this evening and I’ll be in the garden planting tomorrow. Got a few other plants too.
