West Bay

Today was G's birthday and we took a day out and went down to the coast.  After a good meal overlooking the water we walked along the promenade at West Bay and appreciated the sea air and view along the Jurassic Coast down to Lyme Regis and beyond to Devon.  The harbour was crowded with small fishing boats - not many out to sea today although it was fairly calm but worse weather to come.  Before driving on to Symondsbury we had a look at the small museum in the converted Methodist chapel on the edge of the beach which showed the history of the harbour.

Extra photos: Interesting connected tree trunks and the iconic Colmers Hill which is in the Symondsbury Estate near Bridport.
