1968 Leyland Panther

FRIDAY

A cold grey day.

This 1968 Leyland Panther was one of several old buses parked on the seafront in Rhyl this morning.

FKF 918F  entered service with Liverpool Corporation Transport on 2 September 1968 and was retired  in July 1981 after a relatively short life of less than thirteen years. The bus now resides at the North West Vehicle Restoration Trust's base in Kirkby, where the team, in particular the owner and Chief Engineer Mr Steve Wood, ensures her continued preservation.
