Corrieshalloch Gorge

Today's the day . . . . . . . . . . . . . to chicken out

A gloriously warm, sunny day today as we headed over to the northwest coast.

First stop was the spectacular gorge at Corrieshalloch, created by glacial meltwater.  There is a pedestrian suspension bridge over the most spectacular waterfall of the River Droma that rushes through the gorge - the Falls of Measach (see extra).

However, I confess I was way too scared of heights to venture on to it.  It was built more than a hundred years ago - and looked distinctly dodgy to me.  So the above is another bit of the river where the waterfall was much more gentle - but still lovely.

To me, at any rate . . . . . . . . !
