Mushroomed

It's the start of a new week, and G left the flat early. I got to my desk and enjoyed the work day.

G needed a ride to the pick-up point for her 4-get-me-not outing, so I drove her. The car a/c is so not working, it's not even funny. Poor G had driven 30 minutes with hot air blowing on her in 38-degree C heat. I tried everything I could think of to get it to blow cold air, but it was futile. So, I resolved that regardless of how busy the garage is dealing with flood-damaged cars, I am going to get mine seen right away.

As it happens, the a/c finally kicked in 5 minutes after I dropped G off. It was good, but it also meant that it would be working in front of the mechanic. The garage checked the car out, and identified two parts which needed to be replaced, and said, if it happens again, bring it back. Argh!

I came home and went straight back to work. I had a few hours to make up. G came home very late because of traffic delays but very happy with two boxes of oyster mushrooms and a pail in which she is growing her own!

I had to take pictures of her haul while they were at their best.
