St Andrews , Moffat

I met son R for a serious day of geocaching in Moffat.  Its roughly  half way between our respective homes and there was a special event on this weekend .  Here R is examining the sandstone columns of St Andrews church very carefully so that we can answer some  geology based questions . No log book to sign just some technical questions. For someone who did not take geography O Level (me) , these "earth caches" are very instructive. But R here did Geography A level so it's good to be out with him
