Coffee and crosswords

... but no Cross Words.. heaven to sit out in the garden and feel warm.. not blown to pieces and just happy while those pesky clouds were not blocking the warmth.  No complaints at all..

Busy day today preparing the back porch for painting... I got half the undercoat put onto the walls this evening using up the tester pot of paint which cannot be used as a top coat.. I never knew that .. it doesn't have any 'finish' so will always look different to the main matt paint.. who knew? However, it is fine as an undercoat and we will need at least three coats I think to cover the old bluey shade with a yellow.. more fool me!
Hubby has been clever and made fun hat hooks so the sun/summer hats will have a home and not always be being bent.. hurrah!
We have weekenders in the horrid mans house next door.. they parked a huge range rover blocking us in.. words were sent and they were asked to move. They were about to move one vehicle when a rather snazzy white car with beefy engine noise slid down the hill and stopped in the driveway.. it was a Ferrari 296.. hybird petrol just 8 months old.. having done a little research it probably cost around £300K .. drop in the ocean for some I guess.
They moved eventually.
I spent a happy time Twinchying on the theme of connections today (extra).. lovely to have a quiet contemplative time not thinking about anything else.. lovely.
