Well almost.

Talyllyn Railway Loco No 1, Talyllyn, hauled trains up the line today for the first time since 2018.  Major overhaul and boiler work is both expensive and time consuming.  The weather brightened up as the day went along and by the time I was at work this evening, the skies were almost as blue as the engine's new livery.  She's seen here after double-heading a train with Loco No 2 Dolgoch.  Both locos date back to the 1860's.  (Photo credit to Nick who, stood next to me, took this shot.  Mine was far inferior and the event warranted a decent shot to record it!)

Before work at 5, a quiet day at home apart from dog walks and a brief visit to pottery to collect bisque fired butter dishes and roll out some clay.   After using the big roller to produce a slab of clay, I rolled it with a textured roller.  Later at home, I draped the slab, patterned side down, over a hump mould and this evening I have a large dish with a nice patterned interior surface.  It needs a little fettling and after a few days drying it will be ready for bisque firing.

Still not feeling wonderful.  Will be glad to get the results of this week's blood tests on Thursday.  There's a range of possible scenarios, including an unwonted one which might explain all my problems in one go :-/
