Photo Challenge Day #28: Buildings

My photo of the houses next to my apartment building is my choice of several photos taken today. My landlord owns these houses — she lives in the one farthest away while her brother lives in the closest one. I think the middle one is empty now. Many houses here feature a strange circular platform that nobody ever seems to use. If I had one of these, I would rig up some sort of sprinkler and sit in a lawn chair underneath keeping cool from the water. I wonder how much my landlord would charge me to rent that middle house?
