Today both Rosie and I head to Bournemouth for a few days. It rained in the morning but then when we both arrived the sun came out. We headed straight away down for my first glimpse of the sea for two years. We went to the Stables for lunch, lovely.
Then we wandered along the seafront towards Boscombe to find our air. BnB. We had a bit of a struggle getting in the front door, but once in, it was nice and clean and had all that we wanted.
We left our rucksacks and went out for another walk and explore. There are some “characters” that seem to frequent Boscombe Main Street, but the seafront was wonderful, definitely blew away cobwebs. And there were so many lovely dogs to admire. We had dinner in a Lounge, before returning to our annexe.
It felt chilly, so we turned on the heating, but then it was so hot, Rosie had to open the front door to waft in cooler air. Neither of us are used to a warm bedroom.
I struggled to sleep, as I had my covid jab on Friday, and each time I have had either covid or the vaccination, I get insomnia.
