Sith Lightsaber

This afternoon we went to Brick Fest Live at Ingliston.  We had a good time, although I think it's a bit overpriced for what it was!

Our favourite bit was the derby.  You get given a chassis, then have 5 minutes to add a body.  The cars are then raced on tracks to see whether they stay together, whose is fastest and whose gets furthest.  CyclopsJnr built some imaginative and outlandish contraptions.  

He also built a panel for a giant mosaic, a futuristic building in the architecture section, some random flourescent stuff (including a Power Rangers Morpher of some sort) and a Sith Lightsaber with display stand (pictured).

There were some professional lego models to see including a lifesize lion, lifesize heads of Darth Vader and Darth Maul, various pokemon, some dinosaurs (see Extra) and a cartoon monster truck.

Later we watched Star Wars Episode III, completing our viewing of the first six films.  CyclopsJnr has greatly enjoyed them all.
