High Drama and ...

The high drama of the title is absolutely nothing to do with the photo I've used above, which is of the beach at Ardyne as the tide went out and out this afternoon - that distant figure's  crazy dogs were chaising seagulls at the time. No, it was in church, this drama, and it wasn't exactly "high" - the group that go round the Primary schools in Cowal dramatising various parts of the bible story. In this event we were having one of their gospel interpretations in the sermon slot - and there were some jolly good characterisations, wonderful knitted beards and clever ideas for budget staging ...

Our Rector just got back from the most strenuous of holidays on Arran yesterday, so maybe it was serendipity - or just clever thinking ahead. I sang a wee piece Himself wrote - and I was happy to remember it and enjoy singing it. I was also happy to realise how much of what I think of as "my" Arran had featured in their holiday after I made a list of my own fave things to do, mostly involving climbing mountains. Talk about second-hand enjoyment ...

After lunch and an abortive attempt to sleep over the papers we headed out to work up some sort of appetite for dinner - and came home again, two out of three of my exercise rings on the watch closed. By this time any suggestion of  drizzle had moved away and Himself was onto reading the accomplishments of one Boris.

And that was that, really. I was tired when I started and I've now had to erase several nonsensical sentences - all perfectly expressed, you understand, but totally unrelated to reality, which suggests I keep having mini-sleeps. With dreams

And finally: the hay fever season is well and truly attacking me today - my eyes are streaming. Anyone else similarly afflicted?
