One daze at a time...

Les copains d'abord

Following a script that I had predicted to the very word, Uncle Martin called at 10.15 to set the agenda for the Big Launch. The tide was due to be at its highest point at 16.45, it was therefore essential to leave at 13.00
He said he'd call down to Nana's at 11.30 and very predictably arrived at 11.15
He called Nana on her mobile when he couldn't see us (we were harvesting a feed of clusheens and periwinkles).
It has to be said that the weather couldn't have been better for the big launch.
He drove at no more than 60kph to make sure that the boat wouldn't rattle too much on her trailer. The drivers in the long line of cars building up behind us did not seem to fully agree with his attitude of extreme caution.
We had a brilliant afternoon on the water.
We didn't catch anything.

Actually we did but I was sworn to secrecy. Uncle Martin has visions of dozens of boats setting nets in the location that I cannot disclose to catch the species I am not allowed to mention.

A relaxing day.

For anyone who is not Uncle Martin.
