A Cycling Granny

Bend in the River

Today 12 members of the Walking Group parked at Short Cut Road, then after a toss of a coin, we headed upstream.  It was quite sheltered to start with, then the wind picked up, and it was quite cold.  I walked over 11 k steps or just over 8 k's.  Quite enough walking for one day.  The Willows are looking nice and golden at the moment.  We had a welcome cuppa and cake at a local cafe, where Piano Lady and The Tuner joined us.  We all enjoyed chatting in the lovely sunshine.

The extras are:  'There they go', you can the walkers in the distance.  (2)  My lunch spot, and (3)  Nearly back at the cars.  The last extra is this mornings sunrise.  Time to put my feet up.
