Black & Blue?

Tottered off for a wander at Lanhydrock, enroute to Plymouth for the Roscoff ferry this evening. Wanting to avoid the A30 major roadworks mayhem I did the old school route through many bits of Cornwall I haven’t seen for about 40 years, when motorways and bypasses really got going into SW England and Cornwall. So a slower but perfectly acceptable meander, until I entered the brutalist and unfriendly horror known as the port of Plymouth. Boy they really don’t have any regard for foot passengers here,, badly signposted entrance and directions, followed by a long, long walk to the Brittany Ferries terminal, which stank like congealed old baked beans from a long past breakfast.

Now waiting for the Armorique to grace us with its presence. Absolutely nowhere in BF’s bulging websack of guff did it say how long before a sailing could you check in.., acres of digi print about the latest, but feck all about earliest. The check in agent contested this, but after a friendly challenge, couldn’t find it online anywhere, ha!
