Tree Peony

Today's the day  . . . . . . . . . . . . to thrive

Yes I know - another garden blip!  But this one is different because it's from a garden that was once ours - but now belongs to someone completely different.

When we left this garden, the new owners were very keen to know what plants they could expect to appear and whether there were any stories about them.  It was such a lovely question to be asked - not least because it showed that we were leaving our precious garden in the very safe hands of people who cared enough to ask the question in the first place.  And I was only too delighted to write them a few pages, going through the months of the year, telling them what should appear and whether it had any special significance.

We've kept in touch with them, since we moved here - and today we had a text from them - with this picture of the tree peony.  They thought we might like to see how well it was doing?

We do, of course.  It was such a kind and considerate thing to have done - and it has just made our day .......................!
