IN MEMORY OF DEAR DEANNA

Mr. HCB has gone out for his usual Tuesday morning walk, so I decided that I would have a wander around the garden because I wanted to find a pink flower to post today especially in memory of dear Deanna, who sadly died two years ago today.

I think she would have liked this beautiful pink aquilegia, which may or may not have self seeded - but I know that pink was her favourite colour.

I was a Blip friend of Deanna and we mentioned a Blipmeet on several occasions, but never got round to it - however, after Deanna’s death, I got in touch with her daughter, who is also a Blipper, Amanda_T.  Since then, we have shared a lovely friendship - first of all with Amanda and her husband, Mr. T and after he died last year, Mr. HCB and I have tried to support Amanda as much as possible - we even went away with her last Christmas and had a great time.

Today we are thinking about Deanna and all she meant to her family, especially Amanda and her husband, to all her Blip friends and her other numerous friends.
