More birds at the feeder

The birds are hungry. I noticed that a blackbird (turdus merula) was hammering large chunks off the suet stick this morning. I have never seen blackbirds at the feeder before, but I am glad that they have found the feeder as there are not yet any seeds or bugs for them. The new profile of the suet block shows that there has been a bird with a larger beak than the tiny beak of the bluetit.
