A Meandering Life...

This chap had a body of about 5mm long with matching legs. It has chosen a self set lupin that is growing in a crack on my patio to be a support for its web. The lupin is just a baby and one of many that have sprung up this season. Beyond this is a mass of bluebells but I've restricted the image to just green.

Knee Update: (only for those who are interested.)
I had a bit of a rough night. My main pain relief comprises of codeine and paracetamol that had been listed to be taken at 9pm and not again until 8am. I have a limited amount of morphine but I have been holding back on that, I don't really want to use it. By 4am I couldn't resist any longer.

By 4.20am I had drifted off for my first sleep of the night. It only lasted for an hour. I woke with twice the pain I had before! It was one of those times you have no idea what to do with yourself, lay down, stand up, walk a little...

I went into Mindfulness mode, something I had been taught many years ago at a 4 week residential pain management course at St Thomas' hospital. It must have worked because I was woken by my 8am medicine alarm.

Another issue I have found I don't have a chair that works for me for doing the exercises. Most are too low, many without suitable arm rests to push up on. I've not sat in my office chair until writing this Blip. It might just do with a little padding. I just hope it doesn't fly away on its wheels as I try and push up..!
