My mother’s care insurance counselor came for her regular visit today, so I had to be there, too. I don’t quite see the need to have these meetings every three months, as long as the overall situation doesn’t change. But the care insurance insists on them, otherwise they won’t pay what’s only a fraction of the actual care costs anyway. So I am organizing the regular meetings as requested, and make sure that all forms are filled in, and all the right boxes are ticked.

It was a dull and drizzly day, and I didn’t find a blip in the garden, until I left and saw the blossoming hawthorn by the fence. You can see my only other photo of the day in the extra: Lisa, my mother’s 19 year old cat, seems happy that E is back, and jumped up to her lap, to be cuddled while we talked.
