Waiting for the Train

TR No 7 Tom Rolt arrives at Abergynolwyn with the first train of the day.   Jenny and I went up a little after 9am and were more than ready by the time the train arrived.  Not a busy day although the lunchtime train brought suitably hungry passengers who kept us busy for a little while.  By mid afternoon I was flagging and needed a lie down - on a picnic bench seat - to help clear a headache.

Somewhat recovered and the work day over, a fish and chip tea with Lovetrees on the seafront helped to set me up to go to choir, something that had seemed unlikely a few hours earlier.  The new song we are learning is sounding great ... we have a great choir leader!   Then an hour or so at pottery with Lovetrees, her fish decorated plate already looking very colourful.  It might be finished tomorrow evening if we're not too tired.

I finished the day with a call catching up with Sue's recent adventures and then a call with Ruth as Meg and I wandered down to the seafront and back.  A quiet day tomorrow before a busier one on Friday.
