Hobbs's Run

Weeping Rock

There is always a fall at Weeping Rock but the volume of water in the tributary streams is not always sufficient to activate the right hand "curtain". We had fine but mild conditions for most of today and so I felt justified in risking the necessary hike without getting drenched.

I have shot this place a few times previously and once or twice when the curtain was operating. There is a limited area for safe shooting positions lest one slips and falls on smooth, wet, mossy rock. Consequently most Weeping Rock curtain pictures tend to look similar. So I went black and white for something different.

Enough adventures for now. Tomorrow's blip will be more sensible.
