Abstract in the Rushes

I'd wanted to take a tramper into the Outwoods but was told that 24 hours notice was needed for booking so I've booked for tomorrow.

Anticipating a warm, sunny day, we went instead to The Rushes in Loughborough to enjoy a GF muffin and a latte at Muffin Break. I also sent Len into M&S to stock up on GF ginger biscuits and bread.

Nothing much inspired me while sitting outside Muffin Break but I took several photos of the rusty structure in the middle of the square anyway. Played with one while waiting for choir rehearsal to begin and this was the result, simply by editing the same photo twice and then overlaying them in Snapseed in Double Exposure. I was astounded by the result.

Driving home up the A6, I took several photos of the cow parsley, chose one and processed it similarly in Snapseed. See the result in the Extra. Looks a bit like a skull. 

Hazy cloud covered the sky most of the day. At least it was warm.
