Better than bought

H’s first attempt at making pain aux raisins went remarkably well.
Size, shape etc are perhaps a little random, but they certainly taste the goods.
Just like a bought one at the French cafe, only better.
According to the recipe, the pastry should show clear signs of lamination.
So the striations here must surely rate at pastry-chef level.
Next, and on the same day, is my first attempt at vinyl wrapping a pair of hi-fi speakers
