Wake

Slept well, having been quite exhausted by the unaccustomed exertion of doing a gig. June made some excellent strong coffee and I revived - we blethered a lot more, about maths history, family history and a bit of local gossip (D Cummings lives up the other end of her street!). I went for the train home (via the no 73 bus again - so nice to visit London without needing to use the Tube) - another Lumo, as crowded as yesterday's. On time though.

When D got back we went over the bridge to get a pizza at Pizza Geeks and realised that summer would appear to have started officially to judge by the crowds of folk on the Shore. I loved the way the two approaching mallards disturbed the reflections with their wake.
