Evening Wisteria

Another quiet day at home - and I actually manage to completed my book! I do love reading, but recently have found it hard to concentrate and it’s taken me weeks to complete my latest book - ‘Unsheltered’ by Barbara Kingsolver, a hefty tome purchased on our visit to Barter Books back in February. February - where is this year going?

I leave photography until the evening when a wander through the garden takes me to the wisteria which is bathed in the last light of the sun, petals still wet from the earlier thunderstorm. This time last year we thought we’d lost this gorgeous shrub as it showed no signs of life. This year it’s heavy both with blooms and fragrance.

Thanks so much for your encouraging response to yesterday’s venture into street photography - it’s good to do something different!
