Everyday I Write The Book

The Time Is Always Now

At the National Portrait Gallery https://www.npg.org.uk/whatson/exhibitions/2024/the-time-is-always-now

Excellent exhibition and very glad to catch it before it finishes next weekend. The sculpture pictured here is a stunning example of what it means to be black and assert your right to exist through self image.

Little collage in extras.

Did a good long walk. Waterloo to Charing Cross Road, along the embankment, through Temple Chambers and then the backstreets of Blackfriars to the millennium bridge. Over the river to The Globe then back to Waterloo via Roupell Street.

Chill time in the garden and The Love Shack when we got back. I got a new clock for the latter. Very striking.

Great day.
