Bridge 201 - Trent & Mersey

This is Bestway Footbridge on the Trent & Mersey canal at Barnton. It is no longer a footbridge as it is boarded up at the bottom and there is a pipe running across it. The bridge has no number on it although it is numbered 201 on the Canal Plan website I use for reference. This doesn't seem right to me as the next bridge along, Barnton Road Bridge has 201 stencilled on the side. I think it really should be 200a.

Frustratingly as I was walking along the canal a kingfisher flew past and landed in a tree on the opposite bank. Having come prepared for a bridge I didn't have the right lens and by the time I had changed lenses it had flown off. I left my zoom lens on for this photo just in case it reappeared. It didn't
