Wound up in Wexford

Unfurling

One of the ferns growing in and alongside the ditch - the boundary with the road.  Looking delightful and fresh as it unfurls.  The roadside ditches around here are looking particularly good at the moment, with lots of fresh ferns and loads of bluebells.  One of our landscapers was pointing out that this area was woodland before men came along and cleared it to grow crops, so the bluebells are a remnant of that.

It did, as promised, rain a lot today, but with just a few clear periods.

I had a session on the exercise bike, and spent time fluting.  Other than that, not a lot happened.
