Greece day 3

This is turning into an eventful holiday.
Fab day, up super early to the all you can eat breakfast buffet, smuggled out a sarnie, cake and banana for 11sies.
Quiet roads to the 3 ancient attractions. First ancient Corinth with its huge pillars and amphitheater. Next, Nemea, had even more pillars, a stadium and lots of interesting artefacts in the museum - a collection of legs, and mens parts to name a few! Then up hill to Mycenae, I really wanted to see the bee hive shaped tomb - it did not disappoint. There was also lion gate, which was beautiful. Everything we saw was over 3000 years old. Quite hard to comprehend.

Then it was a fast down hill ride to Nafplio. Some mad dogs, but a swosh from my water bottle and pedalling as  fast I can to out run them. It rained a little this afternoon making the roads a tad slippy. We had a sharp stop to assess directions, front wheel went, and I cruised along the tarmac on my chin! I felt my teeth hit the tarmac. Tooth chipped and another wonky. Knee and hands bruised and grazed. BUT, my bike and shake dry coat (£300 to replace if you can find one) are ok.

We slowly made our way to our apartment. Both shaken. But treated ourselves to a delicious meal and will assess the situation tomorrow.
