Nature as therapy

As I’ve spent most of the day attempting to wrestle with the complex procedures of HMRC my blip was going to be a screenshot of the suggestions from their useless digital assistant. Either that or a screenshot of today’s report revealing that UK taxpayers spent the equivalent of 800 years in 2023 trying to get through on their helplines. I had four attempts, only spoke with a recorded voice and it hung up on me each time. The highlight was when the section on an online form requesting a national insurance number was too small to take a national insurance number. And it wouldn’t let you proceed without a valid national insurance number in that field.

After that, I gave in and lay in the garden. The roses have emerged. So that’s a happier blip image. Plus you get a bonus snail.
