Waiting for tea

The morning was pleasant and the farmer was able to continue with the muck spreading job that was started yesterday. There was a bit of a pong, but the wind direction was favourable for us. 

Late morning we headed into town to get my new specs adjusted. We then posted B’s new jeans back to Cotton Traders having ordered ones with a shorter leg length. Then bought some essential groceries. Finally we dropped Olive off at home. 

As we were finishing this running about, it started to rain and it absolutely heaved. We took Amber to kennels late afternoon and found several roads awash with water. 

These two collared doves are regular visitors to our feeding station, but weren’t in luck this afternoon.
