Ladies who lunch!

What a pleasant way to spend Friday lunchtime - attending the annual Crichton Foundation Women's Lunch. There were ten of us around the table and we had a great catch up over a lovely meal, all for a great cause. The Foundation provides bursaries and financial support to students that study at one of the FE and HE institutions based  here.
Apart from the lunch we were also treated to a fascinating tall by Angela Young "The Aristocrat, the Able Seaman and the tragic sinking of the Titanic". Angela's great great great grandmother was one of the survivors of the Titanic and Angela was telling her story - amazing - almost another Hollywood film!
