Closed for the night

Today I have been looking after my two granddaughters. We walked to the park and took a picnic as it was such a lovely sunny day before returning to their house for the afternoon.

Looking after a 7 and 1 year old is an exhausting business! F kindly invited me for tea (I had been invited to stay at O’s for a meal too).

When I got to F’s, we sat in his garden with a cup of tea which is where I photographed the Welsh poppies which had closed up for the night.
