Ramblings and Mutterings

Just smile

What's that saying? Don't be sad it's over, smile because it happened or something.

It was a sad an emotional day today as Liverpool fans got to say goodbye to Jurgen Klopp. An inspirational and great manager. He will live up there with the greats like Shankly and Paisley. But it wasn't just his managerial skills that set him apart, it was the fact that he was also a top bloke. I saw that he had his picture taken with all the staff at Anfield last week, I bet he knows every one of them and their stories. That's what makes him stand out, he had time for every one.

It was real Roy of the Rovers stuff with Klopp, fantastic football and so many amazing memories.

Other than that I had a quiet day. The other semi final in the rugby league was another blow out as Warrington thrashed Huddersfield. So it is a Wigan v Warrington final and I'm glad I've got tickets.

Today I am thankful for:

1.  Jurgen Klopp as Liverpool's manager for nine years
2.  A quiet chilled weekend
