Glorious

It was another glorious sunny summer's day so I've ended up with another sunny Waverley blip, this time with Arran in the background. We had decided at the start of the holidays that we would got to the beach at Seamill if there was a lovely day while we were all off but with the tennis yesterday we were otherwise engaged.

It was a challenge rallying the troops and motivating them all to get out but once there everyone had a ball and they were all in the water, Carlos included. It was a fantastic afternoon just basking in the sunshine and relaxing, I played about with my camera, Noah spent most of his time in the water and Freya discovered the art of sunbathing. She has really fair skin and had on factor 20 so she has barely any colour to show for it but I think the vitamin D has done us all the world of good.

Not sure what the weather has in store for tomorrow but we're back up in the west end to collect Carlos' new glasses and get Freya's eyes tested for her annual appointment. Being off is great but I do like having a purpose to my day.
