The man who went up a hill....

.... and came down in pain!

I headed west with some friends today. Dave, Craig and Rachel are heading to South America early next year and decided they better get some walking done to start shampig up for the Inca trail. Actualy in fairness Dave does plenty of walking, I think it's Craig specifically who needs to get in shape.

Anyway, Dave was out for dinner yesterday and asked if I wanted to head along. It seemed like a great idea at the time, but that was right after TKD training when I was feeling really fit. When I woke up this morning my legs were a bit stiff and sore from all the stretching and kicking last night. I figured that it would ease off after a wee bit ofwalking though. Boy was I wrong on the steep bits of which there were several I felt like I was righy on the verge of cramp in my thighs.

Thankfully it wasn't the biggest hill we were climbing as they wanted to start off slow. We ended up going up Ben A'an which is only just over 450 metres high. Definetely a few pretty steep bits on the climb though. It was well worth it in tehend as teh views were far more stunning than you'd expect from a hill of that height.

I might put some of the other shots online later. I'll pop a link up once I've done it.
