Life, not as we see it.

Olrov?

Here we are in a new city and all I show you is a bit of graffitti. A slightly" Banksyesque" bit, but graffitti nonetheless. God knows what it means.
Split old town is just superb, and if you want to see it, get here. There is a brand new super marina, berthing mega-buck yachts, opposite the ferry terminals, plus an ultra modern quayside promenade with attendant bars and cafes, then there is the Palace as the old town is referred to. A veritable labyrinth of alleys, arches, squares, ruins and churches. Much of the paving is ultra polished, due to the zillions of feet passing over the centuries / millenia. Much evidence of early development by Venezia and Roma. Beautiful.
Our move here from Dubrovnik was uneventful, SatNav guiding us happily through the transition to & fro between country roads and newly constructed motorway. (How about some Euro money for the A9 upgrade, Wee Eck????????)
Spent the afternoon on the beach, grabbing probably our last opporchancity for a sea swim, as our week in Umbria is well away from saltwater, albeit with a pool.
Ferry tomorrow night from Split to Ancona but we will have loads of time for further exploration of this locale during the day.
C Youze!
