Extraordinarily lucky

We managed a two hour walk this afternoon without getting rained on. Lucky us.

We also found a washed up wooden post which had these strange mussels(?) attached to it - No idea what they are but there were hundreds of them and all obviously struggling out of water. We carried it to the sea and saved hundreds of lives :) Lucky them.
