Outlander on location - Falkland Village
I'd read in the local Fife paper about the village of Falkland being used as a film location for some of the scenes of 1940's Scotland for the TV series "Outlander". It's going to be big in America. Hope we get to see it here, and I read the books years ago and it would be good to see how it works on the small screen.
Today's visit to Fife was to participate in some Ancestral Tourism training. However, I suspect that the Outlander fans who don't have Scottish ancestry will be touring Scotland in their droves, looking for locations and romantic highlanders.
Look it up. Diana Gabaldon is the author.
